Biden Promises Obama Will Strike GOP with 'Lightning' via Executive Amnesty

September 24, 2014

On Monday, Vice President Joe Biden promised that President Barack Obama would "do an awful lot" for illegal immigrants with executive actions toward amnesty.

This is the state of the nation when six High Schools in Colorado have a student walk out when a conservative school board member wanted to change the history education on topics that promote citizenship, patriotism and respect for authority:

“I don’t think my education should be censored. We should be able to know what happened in our past,” said Tori Leu, a 17-year-old student who protested at Ralston Valley High School in Arvada.

The school board proposal that triggered the walkouts in Jefferson County calls for instructional materials that present positive aspects of the nation and its heritage. It would establish a committee to regularly review texts and course plans, starting with Advanced Placement history, to make sure materials “promote citizenship, patriotism, essentials and benefits of the free-market system, respect for authority and respect for individual rights” and don’t “encourage or condone civil disorder, social strife or disregard of the law.”

The proposal from Julie Williams, part of the board’s conservative majority, has not been voted on and was put on hold last week. She didn’t return a call from The Associated Press seeking comment Tuesday, but previously told Chalkbeat Colorado, a school news website, that she recognizes there are negative events that are part of U.S. history that need to be taught.

“There are things we may not be proud of as Americans,” she said. “But we shouldn’t be encouraging our kids to think that America is a bad place.”

What we see is the effects of outcome based education that are not teaching children their role in our society and instead filling their heads with useless information. Those that are not taught our past are doomed to repeat the mistakes that others have made. We have so many initiatives to change our nation and the shortest way to do this is through education, and these students protestors show they are winning.

These protestors did not even know what they were protesting about, and had only followed a leftist meme that our founding and founders were anything but honorable men and that history would be anything but illuminating.

What we see coming out the school system is young adults ill prepared to either start a job, much less a career and many times need remedial education before starting college or technical school. History and civics are two of the most important classes that young citizens will ever learn, the first shows where we came from, and the other our, role in our society and how our system of government works.

Sadly this demonstration only shows that the polarization Obama and his National Socialists have been shoving onto the nation is succeeding and taking us down a path that will lead to reduced opportunity, income and loss of hope as they take this nation from a Constitutional Republic to a fascist state.
