Obama: Ebola 'Can Be Controlled and Contained'

August 8, 2014

Ebola can be contained, President Obama stressed, addressing the press at the U.S.-Africa Summit Wednesday.

The World Health Organization has now declared the Ebola epidemic an "Emergency" and is mobilizing what resources they have, which pardon our skepticism is only a bunch of whiny U.N. type plutocrats who have little real influence to change the outcome of this epidemic:

"A coordinated international response is deemed essential to stop and reverse the international spread of Ebola," the WHO said in a statement after a two-day meeting of its emergency committee on Ebola. The declaration of an international emergency will have the effect of raising the level of vigilance for transmission of the virus.

Now if only we could get the Ebola virus to agree to this determination,"The declaration of an international emergency will have the effect of raising the level of vigilance for transmission of the virus."

What exactly does that statement mean?

The CDC and WHO  do not know precisely what the transmission method is for Ebola so how are they or anyone going to start the process to bring this contagion and outbreak under control. We had our resident tyrant Obama try to assuage our angst with this laughable statement from yesterday from our Obama Assures Nation Ebola Can Be Contained? article:

Now he is attempting to assuage any panic over this plague:

“Despite, obviously, the extraordinary pain and hardship of the families and persons who have been affected and despite the fact that we have to take this very seriously, it is important to remind ourselves this is not an airborne disease,” he said. “This is one that can be controlled and contained very effectively if we use the right protocols.”

What are the "right protocols" when we have medical personnel using hazmat suits they have lost all credibility, because it appears that this virus is airborne, otherwise they would just be using face masks.

Then we have the troubling language from Obama's speech from yesterday when it is looked at, and parsed a troubling message is relayed:

“The countries that have been affected are the first to admit that what’s happened here is that their public health systems have been overwhelmed.

Obama is speaking about the countries in Africa that have been affected, though instead of using "there" he uses "here" that is troubling as it intimates that he is now talking about our nation, otherwise, why use the word "here." Is it a slip of the tongue, we wonder, because words matter and a president need’s to speak precisely, since a misunderstood phrase could cause panic.

Then we have this other odd use of language, with this phrase "You did not have a strong trust relationship between some of the communities that were affected and public health workers." What is so remarkable is that he is addressing the American people in front of his summit of African leaders so who is he really talking to?

Because he could certainly be talking about himself and his credibility gap with the American people who he has lied to, at every opportunity and we have labeled him a serial liar.

This last statement is frightening because we are not certain how this virus is spread and seems premature for such and emphatic statement:

“Despite, obviously, the extraordinary pain and hardship of the families and persons who have been affected and despite the fact that we have to take this very seriously, it is important to remind ourselves this is not an airborne disease,”

We pointed out in our article on this matter that all these issues should have been discussed by experts such as epidemiologists, medical doctors and the CDC who's job it is to know these diseases. And not by a tyrant that has lied at every opportunity to the American people to push his faulty agendas, since he lacks credibility with almost everyone.

Just to be safe, at this time we do not know what the mode of transmission is and that it could mutate at any time. We have stated that we fully expect that Obama will use this crisis to push a false meme for political purposes and the expansion of government or his powers just as he has done with everything.
