Groups Protest Gov't Snooping with Giant Airship over NSA Facility

June 30, 2014

A consortium of interested groups launched a giant airship to fly over the NSA's new snooping repository in Bluffdale, Utah. A 135 foot long thermal airship flew over the snoop headquarters last Friday with the message: "NSA Illegal Spying Below" with an arrow pointing downwards at the panopticon.

We admit that we are proud of this group that is taking the fight against the destruction of our Constitutional rights by this government that has turned this nation into a police state. By the NSA recording all our conversations and internet traffic. We are intimately familiar with this new NSA facility as it is only a short 1 1/2 mile from our home, over the South Hills along Camp Williams road.

This consortium operated the airship to bring focus to their liberty destroying activities:

The airship also carried a message to visit the website standagainstspying.org.  The consortium of groups includes "20 grassroots advocacy groups and Internet companies" and was organized by Greenpeace, Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) and the Tenth Amendment Center (TAC).

"The public needs to be brought into the Congressional debate around surveillance reform happening right now," EFF Activism Director Rainey Reitman said. "We're flying an airship over the Utah data center, which has come to symbolize the NSA's collect-it-all approach to surveillance, and demanding an end to the mass spying. It's time for bold action in defense of our privacy."

"Our right to privacy is not a partisan issue. It's a human rights issue," said Michael Boldin, executive director and founder of the Tenth Amendment Center. "This coalition gives great hope for the future because it shows that people across the political spectrum can set aside differences to work together for common cause."

We applaud this action and hope that many more actions will take the fight to end this abuse of our good will, comity and good nature and our inherent right to be left alone from our government. Will the tyrant’s in our government stop this unwarranted and illegal spying on us, seems unlikely even if ten thousand blimps were flying above them, we are merely chattels now that pay for all these acts of depravity out of our government.

They do not even hold out the premise it is for our security, it is simply for their security to keep the tyrants safely in power and in control of the people, it has been this way with every tyrannical regime since the dawn of time.

Why should we be any different.

Sadly, this new sprawling complex is now a target for destruction if the world bursts into flames as it looks like it is heading into another worldwide conflagration.

It seems inconceivable that Putin would allow this facility to operate and gather electronic intelligence if we were in a state of war with them, having your home threatened bring’s a deeply disturbing reality to current world events. From Breitbart.
