Cotton Fiery Over Gitmo: Only Problem There Is Too Many Empty Beds, Terrorists Can Rot in Hell’

The White House Won’t Reveal Who Attended Obama’s Secret Meeting With Muslim Leaders

February 6, 2015

President Obama met with American Muslim leaders this afternoon, according to the White House schedule, but so far the administration is unwilling to reveal who attended the meeting, which was closed to the press.

Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas had some cogent analysis which destroyed the Obama regimes false assumptions about Islam and Islamist motivation to engage in Jihad, in other words they are only a political justification to further false assumptions about their actions and to fulfill a campaign promise to empty Gitmo, from a story on Free Beacon:

“Islamic terrorists don’t need an excuse to attack the United States,” Cotton said.

“They attack us for who we are. It is not a security decision–it is a political decision based on promise the president made on his campaign. To say that is a security decision based on propaganda value is a pretext, a justified political decision.”

Cotton interrogated Principal Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Brian McKeon about Guantanamo Bay policy.

Cotton compared the argument that the prison served as a recruiting tool for terrorists to recidivism rates. The senator’s first point was that there were zero recidivists currently in Guantanamo Bay because they remained incarcerated, a dig at Obama’s Taliban Five trade.

Cotton asked McKeon how many terrorists were in Gitmo during all the terrorist attacks previous to Sept. 11, 2001. Forcing McKeon to answer the rhetorical questions, Cotton made his point clear: Terrorists do not need the prison to persuade extremists to carry out attacks.

“In my opinion, the only problem of Guantanamo Bay is there are too many empty beds and cells there right now,” Cotton said. “We should be sending more terrorists there for interrogation to keep this country safe. As far as I’m concerned, every last one of them can rot in hell, but since they don’t do that, they can rot in Guantanamo Bay.”

It seems that everyone that comes in front of Congress to testify from the Obama regime are lesser men and women, they are not top notch people that we have seen from other administrations. Which is one reason we call it a regime, the other is, comments by Eric Holder who called it a regime himself. These bureaucrats are always left dumb founded by the questions and it is not because they are being badgered and hammered with questions, they are unable to see where the questioning is going like this member of Obama's regime, he clearly looked like he was caught with his pant's down.

For men and women to blindly follow a false and dangerous narrative and path Obama has set us on will only cause our collapse sooner than later, it seems we do not have honorable men and women that will resign their posting and go public with their stand. We have an administration that is full of milquetoast toadies that do Obama’s bidding no matter how dangerous and feckless the policy.

Gone are the day's, that these men and women saw that they had a duty to the public, we grew up with the concept of "public servant" that men and women who served the public interest were servants of the people. That is clearly dead as we are now seen as serving the government and our incomes and wages become fodder for the latest folly of Washington which is only to serve the reelection of members of Congress and the White House to buy more votes with. Tom Cotton makes this point beautifully and it is done with panache and at the same time disgust that we are in such a mess, we have a government that is serving any interest but the peoples, and until we find the will to change this then we will continue to see our nation decline.
