Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Robert M. Gates, who served Barack Obama as secretary of defense said since we have been fighting al Qaeda and the Taliban for over a decade, to think we will be able to completely destroy them, or their new offspring, ISIS, is an “unrealistic goal.”

Outgoing Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel admitted that he felt pressured by the White House to approve the transfer of more Guantanamo Bay prisoners — and at a faster pace.
Robert Gates Obama's former Secretary of Defense has some frank and cogent analysis on our current strategy to destroy Al Qaeda and ISIS; he believes that our current tactics are an "unrealistic goal" to contain either one of these enemies. How is it that Obama actually wants to either contain or destroy them, he armed Al Qaeda in Libya and created ISIS with the arms from Benghazi, from a story on Breitbart:
When asked if we are not wining against ISIS, Gates said, “I think that’s correct. I think that we have made some steps to contain it, but in the same time ISIS has sort of reached the natural limits to where they would have the sympathetic people, the Sunni areas of Northern and Western Iraq in particular. But I think that the air strikes have contributed to containing them, but we’re in a long way to roll them back or push them out of Iraq.”
Adding President Obama’s current strategy will not even roll them back, Gates said, “The president has set an ambitious, and I think under current circumstances, unrealistic goal when he talks about our intent being to destroy ISIS. With the means that he has approved so far, I think that’s an unattainable objective.”
He concluded, “I think we set unrealistic goals for ourselves when we say that we are going to destroy the Taliban and going to destroy al Qaeda. I mean we have been after al Qaeda with all the resources of the American military and intelligence community for 14 years now and have not destroyed it. I think a different kind of strategy is first off, how do we contain them, and how do we limit their ability to carry out the attacks and to occupy territory. It seems to me, particularity with respect to ISIS, our objective is to deny them the ability to hang on to territory, because that gives them a base from which potentially to plot against us and against Western Europe.”
If we are to understand the current situation requires that we approach it from another perspective, we have been conditioned to think of "radical Islam" as our enemy and that we can destroy these Islamic brigands and move on to a safe and sane world free of these Islamofascists. If we are to jettison the concept of "radical Islam" and look at the problem from an historic perspective we would see that Islam has been on march since the 7th century.
It has been bloody carnage since its inception and is not a relatively recent aberration.
Islam has required their adherents to engage in Jihad and is best exemplified by the statements of John Quincy Adams a former President from 1825 to 1829, and was a U.S. Senator and Secretary of State during the time of the Barbary wars, here is what he has to say about Islam:
The precept of the koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force.
Compare and contrast what this President has to say about Islam compared to what our feckless tyrant has to say about Islam and the violence that they commit, if we put this in perspective, we see a perpetual timeline of violence, mayhem and carnage from these barbarians that has been constant since before our nation was born. We can say with certainty that Obama is simply acting as an agent for Islam by his lackluster tactics which as Roberts Gates has said will not hurt them in the long run as they are based on:
What John Quincy Adams understood that Obama fails to grasp, and we think is purposeful as an agent for Islam, is that Islam will not act in good faith and will as he so eloquently penned:
"The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force."
Which is exactly what we have seen with the constant refrain from the Mullahs and Imams and others from Islam that it is a "religion of peace and love" as they lop off heads with abandon and commit rape and enslave captured women and children. Which brings up a fundamental question who, and what are we to believe, we have empirical evidence that show the bloodshed from Islam for the last 1400 years and the statements for the apologists for Islam saying that these acts are the acts of radicals that have perverted the word of Islam. Yet we have not seen a period of peace from Islam that has led to a reformation, far from it, it is constant warfare against the Dar al-
This is how Islam itself see the world, those that are subjugated and everyone who is not a Muslim is an enemy, we are that enemy regardless of what Islam and Obama say, we are of the Dar al-
Which is the point that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-
This action by Sisi is 1400 years overdue and we applaud his call for reformation. As Islam is on a collision course with western values, whether our leaders want to admit it or not, as the world cannot stand the assault from this death cult without rebuke. The question remains can Islam reform itself, or will it take an external force to bring this about, from a story in Free Beacon:
“Is it possible that 1.6 billion people (Muslims worldwide) should want to kill the rest of the world’s population—that is, 7 billion people—so that they themselves may live?” he asked. “Impossible.”
Speaking to an audience of religious scholars celebrating the birth of Islam’s prophet, Mohammed, he called on the religious establishment to lead the fight for moderation in the Muslim world. “You imams (prayer leaders) are responsible before Allah. The entire world—I say it again, the entire world—is waiting for your next move because this umma (a word that can refer either to the Egyptian nation or the entire Muslim world) is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost—and it is being lost by our own hands.”
He was speaking in Al-
“The corpus of texts and ideas that we have made sacred over the years, to the point that departing from them has become almost impossible, is antagonizing the entire world. You cannot feel it if you remain trapped within this mindset. You must step outside yourselves and reflect on it from a more enlightened perspective.”
“We have to think hard about what we are facing,” he said. “It’s inconceivable that the thinking that we hold most sacred should cause the entire Islamic world to be a source of anxiety, danger, killing, and destruction for the rest of the world. Impossible.”
We can only hope that Islam is able to reform itself, though we have our doubts as their culture is rooted in the ancient practice of consanguineous marriage and sadly creates a less than reasonable human being, by inbreeding within their own families.
Much is wrong with Islam and the strategy to deal a mortal death blow to this cancer from the middle ages is long overdue, one thing we can be sure of the active collaboration of Obama with Islam is certainly not the way to end the carnage and bloodshed. Since he cannot bring himself to put the words "Islam" and "terror" in the same sentence. He certainly does not have the clarity that John Quincy Adams had. We must put this usurper out of office as soon as possible by any means necessary and bring rational and cogent thinking back into the equation in place of the active collusion and collaboration with Islam that Obama brings to the table. As he is allowing Iran to become a nuclear power. From Breitbart.
