‘Election Eve Dump:’ Eric Holder Releases Fast and Furious Documents That Got Him Cited for Contempt

Justice Department officials provided House investigators with thousands of documents related to Operation Fast and Furious that President Obama had previously claimed were exempt from congressional review.

We are starting to see a different picture emerging on Ebola and it is a disturbing trend since Monday the people under "active monitoring" in New York City jumped from 117 to 357, an increase of 305%. This growth rate could easily get out of control as travelers continue to pour into our nation. As it is Obama's State Department has inextricably accelerated the visas from the Ebola region, making infected Ebola victims traveling to our nation more likely, and the motive for their actions suspect:

The vast majority of those being monitored arrived in New York City within the past 21 days from the three Ebola-affected countries, the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation said in a statement.

Others being monitored are the staff caring for Dr. Craig Spencer, the physician being treated for Ebola at Bellevue Hospital, the lab workers who conducted his blood tests and the FDNY EMTs who transported the doctor.

All of those being monitored showed no symptoms but are being checked on out of "an abundance of caution," the statement said. One of the people under quarantine for coming into contact with Spencer will now be also subject to active monitoring because "the individual poses no public threat and is showing no symptoms," health officials said. The person's movements will not be restricted, but the person will be assessed twice a day by city health workers.

We have categorically stated that our nation does not have an Ebola policy that will safeguard the nation from this pathogen and if you watch the video at this link you will be hard pressed to find one either. We also have just found out that our feckless tyrant and his regime failed to produce a vaccine, even when asking for specific funds to do so in 2009, choosing instead to divert funds from Project Bio Shield to other programs.

We discussed this troubling development in our Obama Diverted Funds From an Ebola Vaccine Project article:

Here we are in 2014 and the Obama regime has purposely mismanaged this project to develop a vaccine for Ebola and has only started this vital task in September. While making a lot of noise about it since 2009 and 2010 to receive increased funding for this express purpose. This is troubling since the funds had been re-purposed while they received funding under false pretenses to divert to other programs.

It is interesting to note that it was during this same period that budgets were not handled in the proper manner through Congress where they preferred to fund our government with continuing resolutions. The difference is that line item budgets are not created and blanket zero based budgeting and funding is put in its place, making reconciliation of allocated funds all but impossible after the fact.

Then when we look to actions a different picture emerges during the last budget cycle we had the DOJ increase funding for prisoner drugs to a level that was 3X that of the Bush administration while prisoner population growth was at its lowest level since 1980.

The need for active monitoring of these people from the Ebola region would be unnecessary if we suspended issuing visas from these nations and closed our borders to this threat. Instead we are given reasons that are nothing nut nonsense to keep the borders open, to point that it endangers our nation.

Australia and Canada have now suspended issuing visas to the Ebola region nations and closed their countries from travelers from these nations, this is prudent and reasonable action given that we do not have a vaccine against this pathogen. Then we have the exponential rise of possible cases in New York, a 305% increase in active monitoring in a matter of days is a troubling sign of Ebola running rampant and overwhelming our health care system, made worse by ObamaCare

This virus is now getting out of hand, we have to wonder how the health care system is going to 'actively monitor' thousands which this growth rate indicates we will see in another week or two. Which will lead to full blown cases falling through the cracks and Ebola will be loose among the nations people. From NBC New York.
