Constitutional rights to free speech are once again under attack, this time from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) which is planning to use another favorite trick to corrupt our rights, the regulatory might of administrative law. This body of law came about in the 20th century when Congress gave federal rule making capabilities to practically every federal agency. This allows them to become the charging agency, they also hear the case and fix punishment.

In effect they are judge, jury and executioner. Even if you win in this arena the head of the agency has the authority to overturn the decision of the administrative law judge. We now have the FEC under the paradigm of the National Socialist Party (Democrats) who want to regulate the internet for content that is political in nature:

Obama FEC Vice Chairperson Ann M. Ravel announced late on Friday that the FEC was preparing new regulations to give itself control over videos, Internet-based political campaigns, and other content on the web. She insisted that, "A reexamination of the commission’s approach to the internet and other emerging technologies is long overdue."

This snap decision came after the FEC deadlocked 3-3 over whether or not an anti-Obama Internet campaign in Ohio had violated FEC campaign disclosure rules. The videos were placed for free on Youtube and were not paid advertising, but they also did not disclose who made them.

Until now, videos and other political content that is not posted for a fee are unregulated by the FEC. Only paid advertising is regulated under election rules. It is this that the Democrats want to change.

The Chairman of the FEC is a Republican and is concerned about the desire of the National Socialists who want to use the FEC to continue their control of the political narrative in this nation, and stifle dissent that does not meet their agenda.

Democrats are so, devoid of ideas that they cannot debate the merits of their totalitarian concept (singular) for governance; so they do what they always do best, obfuscate, conflate and denigrate so that they can suppress speech that show them to be the fascists they truly are. They want to regulate our political speech that is posted as free content on the internet, Patriots & Tyrants could fall under regulation as well as any other website that post political content if these miscreants have their way:

"FEC Chairman Lee E. Goodman, a Republican, said if regulation extends that far, then anybody who writes a political blog, runs a politically active news site, or even a chat room could be regulated," the Washington Examiner reported on October 24.

"I have been warning that my Democratic colleagues were moving to regulate media generally and the Internet specifically for almost a year now," Goodman told "And today's statement from Vice Chair Ravel confirms my warnings."

Chairperson Ravel says that it should be illegal for free Internet videos to be used for paid TV advertising. But Goodman points out that Ravel is conflating the matter, and that FEC rules already regulate that situation. TV ads are paid advertising and already fall under regulatory oversight, he said.

Goodman and the other two FEC commissioners who voted that the Ohio videos did not violate regulations lamented the decision by the chair to float oppressive new limits on political free speech on the Internet. "Regrettably, the 3-to-3 vote in this matter suggests a desire to retreat from these important protections for online political speech--a shift in course that could threaten the continued development of the Internet's virtual free marketplace of political ideas and democratic debate," they wrote.

Our Constitution recognizes our right to free speech as natural God given rights from our creator, it is the second of five rights codified in the first amendment, these rights existed prior to the Constitution as free English citizens who won these rights from the English Monarchs and were considered natural rights and inviolable. It gives us the right to speak against our government and government officials, elected members and others. Having a commission of six members attempt to regulate speech they do not like is not within their purview. This is an illegal agency of the federal government that is used to regulate elections in this nation, as elections are controlled by the States.

It is the right of the people to engage in dialog they feel is important, it is not up to an unelected commission to decide what it is they should and should not say.

One aspect of this that is always lost on the fascist left is that they completely reject, the concept of the individual and embrace the concept of the herd. Each of us can weight any speech we hear and discuss its merits and fallacies, in other words accept or reject and discern the truth of it.

These miscreants want to be a gate keeper and only allow what they think is acceptable and preclude our right to judge for ourselves, this is a dangerous precipice for our Constitutional Republic. We have so much polarization in our nation ever since Obama and the National Socialists have come out of their Nazi closet. That it has emboldened other tyrants in government to do the same and marginalize us as best they can.

We discussed this aspect in our The Lefts Plodding March Towards Totalitarianism article:

The last paragraph is most telling, and we hear echoed so much by the left, I am not hurting anyone, it's my life, we concur in many circumstances, since true freedom means also having the right to destroy ones self. The difference though is when it is impressed on others that are not of their choosing, when that boundary has been crossed then it is no longer a question of individual freedom but oppressive mandated government interference with our right to be left alone becomes abridged.

The ultimate direction, this panel discussed is the same theme we have hit home many times though using different language:

This new freedom of the individual must come at the expense of real political freedom, noted Azerrad in his remarks. The dystopian vision of Aldous Huxley provides a useful description of the left’s ultimate goal, Azerrad contended: a content people, pacified by drugs, ruled by the state. By giving up the right to rule ourselves in our constitutional republic, we gain the license, especially sexually, to do as we please.

If the left gets its way, it might even see that our ideas of the sexually acceptable are not “sufficiently polymorphous,” Azerrad mused—leading to, possibly, a lowering of the age of consent.

The result of this pacified citizenry is a loss of the “vigilant and manly spirit” necessary for self-government, Azerrad said, quoting Madison again. The left would degrade the personal character needed for our constitutional republic.

But in order to achieve this goal of a soft, liberated citizenry, the left will have to dominate and to control more of society—a tendency that is already in evidence, Williamson argued.

“At some point we’re going to have to really face in a very difficult way that we’re dealing with a really naked, aggressive authoritarian movement,” he said.

We have arrived at what we have been warning about, and why we have labeled Democrats, National Socialists not because we wish to denigrate them because they have acted like them.

This is where we are headed to an authoritarian and totalitarian state that does not allow speech that they cannot control, if their ideas and concepts for self-rule were obvious it would be superior and self-evident making any need to regulate speech superfluous.  Though this is their goal so they can control the narrative and maintain information dominance over the people of this nation and stifle dissent against them and their policies.

Having the ability to be judge, jury and executioner in the same agency is a recipe for tyranny and the tool the tyrant will use to repress the people and escalate their desire for control.

It will ascend the scale from repression to suppression is where this initiative is headed, then to outright oppression by decrees that trample on our Constitutional rights all in the name of fairness and some ethereal idea that government has the right to regulate our speech. We have uploaded a lecture from Hillsdale College that discusses the presidency and the abuse of the regulatory agencies powers that were never created in the Constitution. Every citizen should listen to this lecture and learn about these powers that the federal government has usurped from the citizens and how this effects your life. From Breitbart.
